The Spaghetti Dinner Tradition: Unifying Syracuse Voters Since 1949

On election day in Syracuse, politics are set aside and replace by pasta. Our lady of Pompeii Church continues the tradition of the Spaghetti Supper where everyone, regardless of their political party, gets together and share a dish of home-made food.


This the 67th edition of the event and as you can see here in the kitchen there isn’t much left… for volunteers and organizers the tradition of getting together despite the differences never gets old…
